Equine Infectieuze Anemia (EIA) is vastgesteld bij twee paarden in Wiltshire (G.B.) die via België werden geimporteerd vanuit Roemenië. Dit werd door Defra bevestigd op 19 Januari 2010.
Op 01 februari 2010 werd in verband hiermee ook een geval van EIA in België vastgesteld.
